Mountain-born but long since a citizen of Thavnair, recent 'troubles' have seen Alain find a new living in Eorzea.

A proud Viera in his fifties - though at a glance he could be anything from twenty to a hundred - Alain is a gentle soul, soft-spoken and friendly to all in his path. It is not difficult to imagine why the life of a solitary, violent Wood-Warder suited him little, and now he thrives, making a living through entertainment and cuisine wherever the road leads.

Maintaining a meticulous appearance, Alain likes to garb himself in light clothing (when the climate permits) and wreathing himself in finery, but he is keen to not let the pride in his appearance be turned outwards, and he does not shy away from hard work.

Rather than obsessing over major personal goals, Alain lives each day as it comes; delighting in friendship, games, food, journeys and most other pleasures in life.

Alain has made many friends, but few so faithful as Neela, his blue-feathered Thavnairian songbird.
